It was a high parabolic arc that faed toward the flag. It landed on the Green, bounced once to the right and then rolled into the Hole. I actually saw it go in. Amazing. My second one in 50 years. My first was 14 days ago.

First career hole-in-one. Hole 12 at Charlotte National Golf Club from 144 yards with an 8-iron in difficult wind conditions. The ball landed just behind the pin and spun back into the cup. A moment I’ll never forget.

First hole in one, hole was playing 167 yards that day from the back tees. I hit the best 7 iron of my life, and it took two bounces and rolled 5-10 feet into the cup.
